In March 2009, the Company successfully launched full-scale operations at our Shiga Plant. This facility produces photomasks for next-generation liquid crystal glass substrates. We owe a great debt of gratitude to all who supported us in this endeavor, despite concerns about the market and greater economy.

Our strategy going forward is to engage in aggressive sales efforts to supply 10th-generation and higher large-format photomasks to overseas panel makers.

Backed by the impetus provided by the only plant in the world that produces photomasks for next-generation liquid crystal glass substrates, our entire organization has come together to support activities that will propel us toward becoming the leading company in our industry.
