- Plant and facilities revamped; manufacture of the industryfs first 800mm photomask started

- Independently established from SHASHIN KAGAKU Co., Ltd. into SK-Electronics Co., Ltd.
- 2002
- Consolidated subsidiary Finex Co., Ltd. established in Tainan Science-Based Industrial Park (SIPA)

- Listed on First Section of the Japan Securities Dealers Association (current OSE-JASDAQ)
- 2004
- Hshinchu Office opened in Hshinchu City, Taiwan as the business center of Finex Co., Ltd.

- A new plant built at the Kumiyama site
