“Extreme Tag”

  • What is the communication range?
    0.6mm Extreme Tag’s maximum range is 2.5mm.
Its Metal version is maximum 5.0mm, but when it is attached to metal surface, the maximum is 4.0 mm.
  • Can regular reader/writers communicate with your products?
Need specific reader/writer and antennas for “Extreme Tag.”
  • Is there a USER area?
No, but EPC memory is rewritable.
  • What can be written on EPC?
16 character types, numbers 0-9, alphabets a-f, can be written up to 12 bytes.
If the EPC area is 12 bytes, 96 bits, up to 12 digits can be written.
  • Does the tag sustain autoclave sterilization?
Yes, the EEPROM version can withstand the temperatures from minus 30 degrees to 150 degrees Celsius, if no condensation.
Autoclave sterilization is also called “high pressure steam sterilization”, and it is used for medical tools or biology related experimental tools for sterilization by creating high pressure and high temperature inside of the sterilization equipment with saturated steam
  • How to mount tags?
It depends on how tags are used, and we will propose the best way.
  • In what situations are tags used?
At production sites, it is used to individually manage consumable components, such as drills, which are inside of a surface mounter and to manage maintenance schedules.
It is also used for counterfeiting, for managing usage history and traceability information for small objects that could not be managed before, and it is used in many other fields.

Electronic Paper Tag

  • What is Electronic Paper Tag?
A small device with an information display function that is a combination of the information visibility that a paper label has and the RFID convenience that allows information to be read quickly and automatically.
Displayed information can be rewritten, and barcodes, QR codes, images, and text can be displayed.
All the information needed for production, work efficiency, supply chain, product traceability, and etc can be managed with an Electronic Paper Tag.
  • Can be displayed in color?
    No, only black and white.
  • Do you have larger display devices?
“Electronic Paper Tag” display is only available in 2.9 inch.
  • What is the communication range?
    It depends on reader/writer, but for your reference;
Writing: approx 10cm with specific low power reader/writer
Data communication: approx 30cm with specific low power reader/writer
  • How long does it take to write on the display?
It depends on the communication range, but when rewriting the whole screen, it takes approx 5 – 7 secs.
Once it is written, it remains until it is rewritten.
  • Is it water proof?
No, but we can propose the solutions that fit your environment.
  • Why can it be rewritten without a battery?
Wireless power transmission from the reader/writer enables rewriting.
  • In what situations are tags used?
Manufacturing facilities, warehouses, logistics, visitor badges, event photo badges, store backrooms, store shelves, and many other situations.
The tags are used for production line work instructions, checklists, process management cards, finished goods labels, reusable shipping boxes, and etc where paper labels are often used to improve efficiency.
    Please see details from here.

Picking Tag

  • What is “Digital Picking System, DPS” ?
“Digital Picking System” is a system that supports picking or sorting in manufacturing facilities or warehouses.
The device, tablet or smartphone, shows how many objects need to be picked, and the objects attached the Picking Tag with an LED light blink to let you know their location. The Picking Tag improves picking efficiency and accuracy without skill or training.
When labor shortage is an issue at production facilities and warehouses, and it is more difficult to have skilled workers, the tag solves the issue and new unskilled workers can do the work without mistakes and less time searching for the objects.
  • How is the wireless Picking Tag powered?
The Tag is powered by solar panel and lights up LED. (Recommended Illuminance: 200lx – 1000lx)
In case of shelf layout changes, objects with the Tags can be easily moved as they have no wires or batteries, and no power or communication cabling is required.
  • Can it be run by multiple operators?
Maximum of 7 lighting patterns, with combination of three colors, red, blue and green, and blinking patterns, and it could be designated to 7 operators.
We will propose the best system for your operations.
  • Do you have size variations?
One size only, W150XH67XD62mm excluding metal mounting parts
  • What are the system requirement?
Computer, reader/writer, antenna, application software, barcode scanner, and etc. However, it depends on your situation, please contact us for more details.
  • In what situations are tags used?
The Tags are used at production/manufacturing facilities, warehouses, and inventory shelves for “where is it?” situations. They are useful gadgets in any search situation.
Other than using the Tag for in and out products, by lighting it up in order for assembling parts.
    Please see more details here.

Reader/Writer

  • What is “Reader/Writer” ?
A control device that reads the data from the tag and writes the data to the tag.
An RF tag functions with a reader/writer and an antenna as well as a computer or a mobile device.
  • What types of readers/writers are there?
UFor the UHF band, mainly 2 types, high power under 1W and low power under 250mW.
Stationary, handy, gate, mat, and etc. types are available. Also embedded type.
It depends on your challenges/issues, please contact us for more details.
