Types of RFID communication method?

There are three main types of RFID communication methods, “Electromagnetic coupling ” ,”Electromagnetic induction”, and “Radio wave”.
The “Electromagnetic coupling” is known as a mutual induction system and apples high frequency to the coil of the transmission side and the reception side. The information is loaded on the mutual induction.
The communication range is shorter, but the magnetic coupling is stronger, and the noise immunity is superior, which are its distinctive features.

The “Electromagnetic induction” is to exchange the information by loading it on the magnetic field generated in the area near an antenna. The communication range is shorter, but it has less effect from water, metal, and dust and can be used under poor conditions, which are its distinctive features.

The “Radio wave” exchanges the information by having the modulator and the demodulator, which are adjusted to the communication radio wave, in the transmission side and the reception side respectively. Having effect from Wireless LAN and Bluetooth is an issue, but compared to the “Electromagnetic induction”, the communication range is longer, and it can communicate with many tags at once, which are its distinctive features.
